ROE Document

Which rate of exchange has been applied?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

As requested by customers, an exchange rate (ROE) document is now included with the DA for transparency of payments and is also provided alongside both the Charterers’ and Owners’ vouchers.

This enables users to:

  • Clearly understand the conversion from base currency to local currency

  • Reconcile payments more efficiently

  • Expedite the settlement process

How does it work?

1. PP (Payment Provider) customers automatically get the PP exchange rate document attached to the new ROE bucket.

2. Non-PP customers can have an ROE document uploaded manually to the ROE bucket by the processing team against the advance.

For PP customers, ROE document accessibility:

  • When the system runs the automated dispatch, this ROE / exchange rate document is included.

  • In switch, it is included in DA / coversheet under:

    • Full DA download

    • Download by specific expense category

    • All coversheet types (DA Download, Charterer Coversheet, Owner Coversheet)

  • This applies to all payment types, not just advances.

For NON-PP customers:

  • ROE document is uploaded within the Rate of Exchange bucket/ section.

  • Once uploaded, during the automated dispatch runs, the ROE document will be included automatically.

  • In switch, it is included in DA / coversheet under:

    • Full DA download

    • Download by specific expense category

    • All coversheet types (DA Download, Charterer Coversheet, Owner Coversheet)

  • This applies to all payment types, not just advances.
